Los Angeles Kings 2015-16 Regular Season:
Game 12 @ St. Louis, November 3, 2015, 5:30pm PST

One night after their win streak came to an end in Chicago, the Los Angeles Kings are right back to work as they pay a visit to Scottrade Center to take on the 8-2-1 St. Louis Blues. This will be the first of three meetings between the two clubs this season.

While the Kings have appeared to be on a mission since the second week of the season, the Blues have appeared to be on one since opening night.

Coming off being named the NHL’s Second Star of the Week, goaltender Jake Allen has been a force in the St. Louis net. Last week, the 25-year-old went 3-0-0 with an 0.98 goals-against average, a .963 save percentage and one shutout, helping the Blues to three-straight wins entering Tuesday’s contest.

After giving Jonathan Quick the nod in goal on Monday, expect the Kings to give Jhonas Enroth the start on Tuesday. In what will be his second start of the year, the new King will hope to extend his winning ways after making 39 saves in San Jose for his first win on Oct. 22.

Los Angeles’s TLC Line (Toffoli, Lucic and Carter) are still hot despite being left off the scoresheet on Monday but fans hope the lack of rest will not deter them in St. Louis. Heck, Kings fans hope the lack of rest will not deter any of their team’s players.

In three meetings last season, the Kings took two of three contests from the Blues with the home team winning on each occasion. If the silver-and-black have anything to say about it, then the pattern will change on Tuesday night. But first, the Kings will need to find a way to solve one of the best teams in hockey.

It’s onward and upward for the Kings as they hope to restore their winning ways.

It should a memorable clash between two resurgent clubs.

Enjoy the game!
