Los Angeles Kings 2015-16 Regular Season:
Game 59 vs. Calgary, February 23, 2016, 7:30pm PST

After wrapping up their season-high seven-game road trip, the Los Angeles Kings are back home as they play eight or their next nine at STAPLES Center. The home fun begins on Tuesday night when the silver-and-black play host to the 26-29-3 Calgary Flames.

Tuesday will mark the second of four meetings between the Kings and Flames this season and the first in Los Angeles. The Kings took the first meeting by a 4-1 count at in Calgary back on Dec. 31.

Some potential good news for the Kings heading into this matchup will be the possible return of Anze Kopitar, who missed Saturday’s game with a lower-body injury. Jordan Nolan also missed said game but both skated Monday and hope to be back in the lineup on Tuesday.

If the Kings are hoping to win, though, they will need to find a way to contain, among others, Johnny Gaudreau, who leads the Flames with 22 goals, 35 assists and 57 points. In fact, in six games against Los Angeles, Johnny Hockey has four goals and four assists.

The Kings are coming off a dramatic overtime win in Nashville and will look to start a winning streak for the first time in weeks. As for the Flames, they have lost four of their last five as they hope a date against a division rival will help turn the tide.

Tuesday also marks a special night for the Kings as they will be sporting their vintage golds as part of their Legends Night series where they will honour Mike Donnelly before the game.

It should be a great divisional matchup.

Enjoy the game!
