Los Angeles Kings 2015-16 Regular Season:
Game 65 vs. Vancouver, March 7, 2016, 7:30pm PST

The Los Angeles Kings are hoping to bounce back on Monday as they play host to the 25-27-12 Vancouver Canucks for the fourth time this season. Monday also marks Legends Night as the Kings will honour Jimmy Carson prior to the game.

After losing 3-0 in the opening week of the season, the Kings have taken the two most recent meetings from the Canucks, winning, most recently, a convincing 5-0 victory on Dec. 28 at Rogers Arena. Jonathan Quick made 27 saves in said victory, posting his most recent shutout to date.

While the Kings are coming off a 3-2 loss to Anaheim, the Canucks are coming off a 4-2 win in San Jose, but they will be without the services of Henrik Sedin on Monday after suffering an upper-body injury on Saturday.

For the Kings, they fell out of first place in the Pacific after Saturday but are still in good position as the playoffs fast approach. Unfortunately, they lost Kris Versteeg to an upper-body injury on Saturday and is questionable for Monday’s contest.

It may not be quite as heated as it was in years past but the Kings-Canucks rivalry is nonetheless an exciting one and we should be in for a good matchup on Monday.

Enjoy the game!
