Los Angeles Kings 2015-16 Regular Season:
Game 73 @ Minnesota March 22, 2016, 5:30pm PST
After seeing their four-game winning streak come to an end on Monday, the Los Angeles Kings are right back to work as they travel to St. Paul on Tuesday to take on the 34-28-11 Minnesota Wild in what will be the third and final meeting of the season between these two clubs, and a possible first-round playoff matchup.
With the teams exchanging wins in their first two meetings, they each look for the win in the rubber match. But while the Kings have already clinched a playoff spot, the Wild are looking to get into one as they enter Tuesday just one point behind the Colorado Avalanche for the final wildcard spot.
For the Kings, despite seeing their four-game winning streak come to an end on Monday, they are still first in the Pacific Division and looking good. In particular, Anze Kopitar enters the contest riding a five-game point streak and 15 points in his last 11 games.
In goal, expect the Kings to start Jonathan Quick again. Quick played 40 minutes on Monday and despite allowing three goals, was reliable stopping 24 shots. For the Wild, Devan Dubnyk will get the call.
As we inch closer to the playoffs, things only get more exciting and tonight’s matchup should be no exception.
Enjoy the game!
