Los Angeles Kings 2015-16 Regular Season:
Game 80 @ Calgary, April 5, 2016, 6pm PST
One night after losing in Vancouver, the Los Angeles Kings travel east to take on the Calgary Flames in what will be the final road game of the season for the silver-and-black.
While they are heading to the playoffs, the Kings are looking to clinch top spot in the Pacific Division. They enter Tuesday’s matchup sitting just one point behind Anaheim, who also plays on Tuesday.
The Kings are a perfect 3-0-0 against the Flames this season and hope to end it on the same note. This season’s series is the first win for the Kings over Calgary since the lockout-shortened 2013 campaign. But while the Kings do boast a 16-11-0 record against the Pacific this season, they are just 2-6-0 in their last eight games, being outscored 26-19 over that stretch.
For the Flames, since they won’t be going to the playoffs this year, they are simply looking to play spoilers as they hope to stop Los Angeles from winning their first division title in 25 years.
It should be a good matchup.
Enjoy the game!
