Los Angeles Kings 2016 Playoffs:
Western Quarter Final
Game 4 @ San Jose, April 20, 2016, 7:30pm PST
After jumping back into the series with a 2-1 win on Monday night, the Los Angeles Kings will be hoping to tie their first-round series on Wednesday night against the San Jose Sharks.
Each game in this series has been decided by one goal which shows just how close this series has been. Both goaltenders have been magnificent thus far with Jonathan Quick rebounding after allowing an early goal on Monday to make 29-straight saves en route to the Los Angeles victory. His 2.33 goals-against average through three games is second, however, next to Martin Jones‘ 1.96 GAA.
For Kings head coach Darryl Sutter, he’s been experimenting with some new lines and it has paid off as of late. The trio of Dustin Brown, Vincent Lecavalier and Tanner Pearson teamed up in overtime on Monday with the latter potting the game-winner.
Like Monday, the Kings will be treating Wednesday’s game like it’s a must-win, but the Sharks will be ready as they hope to return to Los Angeles with a 3-1 series lead. We’ll see what happens.
Enjoy the game!
